Vitaly Aleksandrovich Petrov (Russian: Виталий Александрович Петров, born September 8, 1984 in Vyborg) is a Russian Formula One driver. He is known as "Vyborg Rocket" in Russia. He currently resides in Valencia, Spain.

Petrov was linked to joining Sauber, Renault F1 and Campos for the 2010 season. He was announced as a Renault driver on January 31st and thus he will become the first Russian Formula One driver.
